swim little fishies

I went into this new part of bubble land for a look around. There was plenty to see, but my favourite part was the 'electronic fish pond'.

By walking, jumping, or even tossing my ID badge onto the 'water', I could make ripples and scare the fish away. But they weren't real fishies - only computer generated images. Like a touch-screen computer, but on the floor . . . and with fish!

spiral staircase

Just when I thought that my walk along the river couldn't get any better, I discovered that there was an open day at City Hall.

For ages, I'd been wanting to climb up inside this big glass Easter egg and see the view from the top.

The view was great, but what I enjoyed even more was the spiral staircase on my way back down. It went around, and around, and around . . .

south bank

I walked along the south bank of the River Thames today and saw all of this (and more). How many of these London sights do you recognise?

british museum

I found out today that the British Museum has underground (basement) galleries. While I was there I saw this.

The tree sculpture and the creatures below are made of old weaponry, which I thought was an interesting idea.

Hampton Court Palace

Another lovely day out. The weather was great and there was lots to see. We travelled by train again today, maybe we'll take the boat trip along the River Thames next time . . .

Camden Green Fair

What a super event this was! A little bunch of bubble folk were there to reach out and share the bubble love with all . . .

Plus they had wondrous science tricks, to amaze and delight . . .

Elsewhere in the fair, there were tasty veggies to eat . . .

Plus some very versatile veggies for model-making!

There was lots to do and see: fun for all the family!
