I loved Lovebox - part 2

The Lovebox festival carried on into the evening. My helpful bubble colleague had given me a list of hip & happening bands that I really ought to see, and can you imagine my surprise when I'd actually heard of one of them?! They were none other than the dear old B-52s!

I also had two handsome gentlemen as companions to hang out with, while I waited for the bands. Lucky me!


It felt like only about an hour, but in fact, I'd been waiting to hear this band play live for 27 years. This was the time elapsed since I first heard that utterly splendid song, 'Rock Lobster'.

When they began to play, it was fantastic. When they finally got around to playing Rock Lobster - their very last encore song - I nearly cried with happiness. Really.

It was so great to hear one of my favourite songs played live.

Music is great. I love music and I must listen to it more often!

After all of this excitement, it was time to go home for a nice hot cup of tea.
